From the reviews
This place is it! 19 Birch Lane is so beautiful! If you need an out door venue that is breathtaking, This is the place to have it! Water features and the greenest grass you've ever seen. Large hall the size of a barn and dinning hall that you have to see. What a place and it is in Maine!
Our wedding at 19 Birch Lane was absolutely gorgeous! From the beautiful setting to the overall atmosphere, everything felt so special and made our day truly unforgettable. We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to celebrate such an important moment in our lives.
My husband and I got married at 19 Birch Lane over Labor Day weekend, and it was everything we hoped for. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, with large, colorful gardens that made for the perfect backdrop. We stayed in the cottage on the property, which was comfortable, cozy, and spotless.
Nineteen Birch Lane is a wonderful location for an event such as a wedding or most any other type of outdoor gathering. The small pond makes a perfect backdrop for a ceremony. The grounds are thoughtfully landscaped with various ornamentals, including perennials, decorative shrubs and trees.
Getting married at 19 Birch Lane
19 Birch Lane comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the glass house at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — the light pouring through the panes at golden hour is the whole reason to book one, but a greenhouse at noon in July feels very different from one at dusk in October, so ask about temperature and shade for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring the questions that only matter for a glass venue: is it heated and air-conditioned (the single most important question), what months do they actually book, is there shade cloth or diffusing glass for midday glare, what's the humidity like in summer, are candles or open flame allowed near the plants, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Glass venues are intimate and popular dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
