From the reviews
As a wedding & engagement photographer, I absolutely love the Denver Botanic Gardens. Recently, I shot a wedding at the Annuals Garden and Pavilion, but that's just one of several event spaces throughout the gardens, and they're all beautiful.
We had our wedding here this past Saturday and it was perfect! We rented the Orangery and it was beautiful! We were able to do a rehearsal run the day before in our space which was so helpful. The day of the wedding our space was blocked off for us and everything was ready for decorations when we arrived!
What a gem! So much to see. Thoroughly enjoyed walking around here and taking in all the marvelous exhibits and plants and flowers. Love the set up and the different conservatories. Didn't get to see everything so I guess it will be another trip back for me!
I recently got to photograph a wedding at Denver Botanic Gardens, specifically at the Woodland Mosaic Solarium, and absolutely loved it. The space is intimate, the light is beautiful, and it feels so private while being surrounded by all the greenery you could imagine.
Getting married at Denver Botanic Gardens
Denver Botanic Gardens comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the glass house at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — the light pouring through the panes at golden hour is the whole reason to book one, but a greenhouse at noon in July feels very different from one at dusk in October, so ask about temperature and shade for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring the questions that only matter for a glass venue: is it heated and air-conditioned (the single most important question), what months do they actually book, is there shade cloth or diffusing glass for midday glare, what's the humidity like in summer, are candles or open flame allowed near the plants, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Glass venues are intimate and popular dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
