Fabulous place to hold our baby shower. The staff is more then accommodating and helpful with planning and staging the event. The venue is beautiful with three areas for guests: the hall, the outside terrace with running fountain, and conservatory. Our guests were extremely impressed with the venue and raved about it!
We had my bridal shower here which was beautiful! Sadly it was raining so we had to move in inside but luckily the lobby area was bright enough to make it just as stunning. We catered in Avanti (Italian food) and it was delicious, the owner Tony is fantastic to work with!
We recently had a private party for 50 people, and had a wonderful experience. Richard, the event planner, was very helpful in answering all of our questions, and making suggestions. Angelo was our contact person for the day, and made sure the venue was set up, and all of our agreed amenities were in place.
As a wedding musician, Friendship Park Conservatory is an absolute stunning hidden gem of a venue! It is highly accessible for everyone who needs it, and it made my harp heart happy knowing I had such an easy setup. The flowers were in full bloom all around the indoor and outdoor area.
Getting married at Friendship Park Conservatory

First, see the glass house at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — the light pouring through the panes at golden hour is the whole reason to book one, but a greenhouse at noon in July feels very different from one at dusk in October, so ask about temperature and shade for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring the questions that only matter for a glass venue: is it heated and air-conditioned (the single most important question), what months do they actually book, is there shade cloth or diffusing glass for midday glare, what's the humidity like in summer, are candles or open flame allowed near the plants, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Glass venues are intimate and popular dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
