From the reviews
The kind of American botanical gardens with wide diversity, venue opportunities abound, and plant installations are a walking visual delight. There are short and long trails; paved trails; natural trails; wide trails and single tracks; riffling waters and calm reflections; and as within all gardens tending to…
Wow. What a venue. This is not just a botanical garden. Clearly designed for weddings and other events. Plenty of trails to explore. Bring an umbrella - it gets hot when your not in the shade. Clever side trails lead to kids play areas. One included a small 5-6" deep pool to splash in.
We enjoyed a Saturday morning walking the paths, relaxing with nature, listening to the birds, spotting turtles bathing in the sun, butterflies, and the beauty of the flowers all around us. It was also fun to see a special proposal surprise and a wedding being setup.
If you love nature, flowers, and beautiful surroundings, this is a place for you. Individual tickets can be a little pricey, but I used to have an annual pass there when I lived in Huntsville. That's how much I love it. I recently got engaged there. (It's a beautiful venue to get married as well.)
