From the reviews
The Lake Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful place to have a wedding with lots of parking, and things like tables and chairs available on site. We had our wedding in August, and we enjoyed spectacular weather with a view of Mt. Rainier across the lake as well.
Loved this location for my friends wedding this last year. The only downside was that it seems we caught the staff on a bad day? We got a tad bit of attitude about things that seemed trivial and it was upsetting to have to deal with that on a wedding day, of all events.
The lodge is located in a sacred place with access to a lake, an arboretum and the trail along the river. Great for retreats or large ceremonies.
We had our wedding at Lake Wilderness Lodge and we were so happy with how everything turned out! The venue itself is gorgeous and offers great facilities for both indoor and outdoor weddings. When looking at comparable venues, the Lodge is reasonably priced and still offers a lot of flexibility.
Getting married at Lake Wilderness Lodge
Lake Wilderness Lodge comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the glass house at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — the light pouring through the panes at golden hour is the whole reason to book one, but a greenhouse at noon in July feels very different from one at dusk in October, so ask about temperature and shade for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring the questions that only matter for a glass venue: is it heated and air-conditioned (the single most important question), what months do they actually book, is there shade cloth or diffusing glass for midday glare, what's the humidity like in summer, are candles or open flame allowed near the plants, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Glass venues are intimate and popular dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Lake Wilderness Lodge
Corporate events, retreats, or private parties come up for Lake Wilderness Lodge — greenhouse venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
