From the reviews
We just got married at the hidden oaks on March 29, 2025. We booked this venue, April 2024. This is literally the best venue in the state of Virginia. Not only do they respond and communicate with you throughout the whole process but they really just respect you no matter what background you come from.
We are extremely excited to see The Hidden Oaks as a new venue in Chesterfield. As a rental company we have just had our first opportunity to work with The Hidden Oaks and see the space. With it's contemporary greenhouse, well manicured gardens, and a slight industrial edge the design options are endless.
We had a wonderful experience with our venue from start to finish. We truly enjoyed working with our coordinators, and we absolutely loved the space itself. The cottage was perfect for my maid of honor and me to stay in the night before the wedding and to get ready with my bridesmaids—it was comfortable, convenient,…
We recently had our wedding at this venue (10/19/24), and it was truly unforgettable! The venue is absolutely beautiful, with well-kept grounds and picturesque views that made for amazing photos.
Getting married at The Hidden Oaks
The Hidden Oaks comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the glass house at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — the light pouring through the panes at golden hour is the whole reason to book one, but a greenhouse at noon in July feels very different from one at dusk in October, so ask about temperature and shade for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring the questions that only matter for a glass venue: is it heated and air-conditioned (the single most important question), what months do they actually book, is there shade cloth or diffusing glass for midday glare, what's the humidity like in summer, are candles or open flame allowed near the plants, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Glass venues are intimate and popular dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
