From the reviews
They have the most beautiful gardens! The estate itself is a little interesting, but the gardens are breathtaking. My husband and I held our wedding and reception here and we didn't even have to decorate for the ceremony because it was so lush and green!
We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at Highlands Mansion in May of 2024. The mansion is beautiful on its own, which made wedding planning so much simpler. While we did have to pick our own vendors, Dana was SO helpful in making suggestions and organizing the details of our day.
We had the pleasure of having our wedding here back in September 2024. The gardens are stunning and there are so many different options for the ceremony/reception areas. Dana was my day of coordinator and was beyond helpful throughout the entire process. Answered all of my questions and made my day go by so smoothly.
Had my wedding here at the end of June, 2022 and it was absolutely perfect! There are many location options for the ceremony/reception (all gorgeous), and an overwhelming number of amazing photo spots. Everything is kept up very well, and the mansion is stunning too, especially the bridal and groom suites.
Getting married at The Highlands Mansion and Gardens
The Highlands Mansion and Gardens comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the glass house at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — the light pouring through the panes at golden hour is the whole reason to book one, but a greenhouse at noon in July feels very different from one at dusk in October, so ask about temperature and shade for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring the questions that only matter for a glass venue: is it heated and air-conditioned (the single most important question), what months do they actually book, is there shade cloth or diffusing glass for midday glare, what's the humidity like in summer, are candles or open flame allowed near the plants, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Glass venues are intimate and popular dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
