The Curtis Atrium is stunning! The soaring glass ceiling, marble fountain, and elegant architecture create a magical atmosphere. The Dream Garden mosaic adds historic charm. Excellent food, attentive staff, and a perfect space for weddings or events. A true Philadelphia gem!
The Curtis Atrium did a fantastic job hosting our wedding. The venue looked absolutely gorgeous and everyone thought the food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. It was delicious and beautifully plated to match our elegant event.
We attended a wedding in the Atrium. It was a beautiful facility with incredible service and kudos to the chef! The food was magnificent! From the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres to the plated dinner. All of our table mates were raving that it was the best food at a wedding they had had.
Getting married at The Curtis Atrium
The Curtis Atrium comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth it. First, see the glass house at the time of day and season you'd actually get married — the light pouring through the panes at golden hour is the whole reason to book one, but a greenhouse at noon in July feels very different from one at dusk in October, so ask about temperature and shade for your date and walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring the questions that only matter for a glass venue: is it heated and air-conditioned (the single most important question), what months do they actually book, is there shade cloth or diffusing glass for midday glare, what's the humidity like in summer, are candles or open flame allowed near the plants, and exactly what's included — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Glass venues are intimate and popular dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Curtis Atrium
Corporate events, retreats, or private parties come up for The Curtis Atrium — greenhouse venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
